GUNSHIP - CTHULHU (feat. Corin Hardy) [Official Audio]

Get Hollydoom here - http://smarturl.it/Hollydoom "The Thing of the idols, the green, sticky spawn of the stars, had awaked to claim his own. After vigintillions of years great Cthulhu was loose again, and ravening for delight!" - Here is a fun track we made for the legendary FANGORIA horror magazine. It is an ode to H.P. Lovecraft's great old god 'Cthulhu'. The track features an opening monologue from Corin Hardy, director of The Nun and The Hallow. Gunship member Dan Haigh describes the song to Dread Central, saying, “I just felt like writing something creeping, twisted, and possibly dripping with slime. Most importantly, I felt like creating something transportative. I hope the track takes its listeners on a journey to the darkest corners of their imaginations… listen – taste the salt on the sea air – witness the slathering foul beast rise from his slumber…” Song Written and Produced by Dan Haigh Vocals written and Produced by Alex Westaway Voice Over by Corin Hardy Mixed by Carl Bown at Treehouse Studios Mastered by Stratton Oakmont Mastering Artwork by Richard Luong Web: http://tentaclesandteeth.com/ FB: https://www.facebook.com/TentaclesandTeeth Insta: https://www.instagram.com/tentaclesandteeth/ GUNSHIP Store: https://gunship.tmstor.es/ Follow GUNSHIP: http://www.gunshipmusic.com https://www.facebook.com/GUNSHIPMusic https://twitter.com/GUNSHIPMusic https://instagram.com/GUNSHIPMusic Intro monologue: “They worshipped, so they said, the Great Old Ones who lived ages before there were any men, and who came to the young world out of the sky. Those Old Ones were gone now, inside the earth and under the sea; but their dead bodies had told their secrets in dreams to the first men, who formed a cult which had never died. This was that cult, and the prisoners said it had always existed and always would exist, hidden in distant wastes and dark places all over the world until the time when the great priest Cthulhu, from his dark house in the mighty city of R'lyeh under the waters, should rise and bring the earth again beneath his sway.” #GUNSHIP
