How to Loop a YouTube Video

Want a song or clip to repeat automatically? Here are the quickest ways to loop a YouTube video — the whole thing, just a part of it, or several videos at once — on both computer and phone. All free, no account needed.

Open the free looper

Method 1 — Loop the whole video with YouTubeLoop.net

  1. Open YouTubeLoop.net.
  2. Paste the YouTube link (or the video ID, or just search) into the box at the top.
  3. Press “Go loop!”. The video starts and repeats endlessly — no clicking needed.

That’s it. The video keeps replaying from start to finish until you close the tab.

Method 2 — Loop only a part of a video (A–B loop)

This is something YouTube’s built-in loop can’t do: repeat just a section — a chorus, a solo, a phrase you’re learning.

  1. Load the video as in Method 1.
  2. Under the player you’ll see a range slider. Drag the left handle to your start point and the right handle to your end point.
  3. The video now loops only between those two moments.
Great for musicians looping a riff, language learners repeating a sentence, or dancers drilling a move.

Method 3 — Loop several videos at once (a repeating playlist)

  1. Add your first video, then paste and add more — each gets its own player.
  2. Turn Playlist on to play them one after another on repeat, or leave it off to loop each independently.
  3. Use the Link button to get a shareable URL of your whole set — send it to a friend and it loads the same looping playlist. You can also browse playlists other people shared.

How to loop a YouTube video on your phone (iPhone & Android)

The official YouTube app doesn’t offer a simple repeat for a single video, so use the web tool instead:

  1. Open YouTubeLoop.net in your mobile browser (Safari or Chrome).
  2. Paste the link and tap Go loop! — it repeats just like on desktop.

Method 4 — YouTube’s own loop option

For completeness: on desktop YouTube you can right-click the video → “Loop”. It repeats the full video, but it can’t loop a section, loop several videos, or create a shareable looping link — that’s where a dedicated looper helps.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free? Yes, and there’s no sign-up.

Can I loop just the chorus of a song? Yes — use the A–B range slider (Method 2).

Will it keep looping if I lock my phone? Mobile browsers often pause background playback; keep the tab active for uninterrupted looping.

Can I share a looping playlist? Yes — the Link button creates a URL that reopens your exact set.
