Felony Car Stop By Ontario Police

Ontario, CA - On Friday, October 21, 2016 at about 8:05 p.m. as we drove eastbound on Mission Blvd almost approaching Magnolia Ave, we noticed several police units with the Ontario Police Department initiating what appeared to be a “Felony Car Stop”. The officers were pulling over a 1990’s silver in color Honda Accord 3TQV548 occupied by four individuals, two males and two females. Six patrol units blocked the right shoulder and the number two lane of the westbound lanes, Officers approached the vehicle with their weapons drawn. All occupants were taken out of the vehicle, one at a time. All occupants were frisked and detained as they sat down by the sidewalk. The female driver of the vehicle was placed in handcuffs then on the rear seat of a patrol unit. The reason for the stop is unknown, however the registration tags on the Accord displayed Dec 2015 and was towed away. Two of the passengers, a male and a female were allowed to leave at 8:30 p.m. The male who remained by himself was questioned for about 40 minutes after that and was then allowed to leave at 9:11 p.m. According to that male, the officers had found some type of a controlled substance out on the curb near the passenger side of the Accord and that they didn’t want to let him go, that they told him that they were convinced that such substance was his but he told them that it was not his. Apparently non-of the officers saw when or how that substance got there so they eventually let him go. HitAndRunJustice.com
