Oslo2Rome tour: charging electric cars across Europe using blockchain technology

European tour 'Oslo2Rome' pioneers with paying for charging electric cars with an app on blockchain technology. For the first time in the Netherlands, an electric car was charged with an app on blockchain technology that also directly paid for the transaction. This technology makes it possible to load the electric car without a contract. As part of a European tour 'Oslo2Rome', the Dutch team used the 'e-mobility wallet' at a charging station on the test yard of ElaadNL in Arnhem. The next charging session was in Essen (Germany). With the demonstration tour through Europe, participants including Enexis Netbeheer, ElaadNL and Innogy explore the possibilities of using blockchain technology in the field of charging electric cars. In this tour seven European utilities explore how this technology can also be used in their country.
