Shared Mobility: „VIA“ – innovative ridesharing

Protecting the environment while saving money. The VIA transport service recently started business in Orange County, California, with a fleet of Mercedes-Benz vans. Using an app, passengers can order a shuttle to pick them up at the next intersection and select the destination. The app calculates which vehicle can be combined most effectively with other customers' destinations. The van collects the passengers after an average waiting time of five minutes and delivers them quickly and reliably to their destination.
