One of the three Boards of Canada tapes collectively referred to as Old Tunes, A Few Old Tunes is rumored to have been privately released to friends and family of the band sometime around 1996. The legitimacy of A Few Old Tunes has never been confirmed by Boards of Canada or any of their related music labels, and there is controversy that the album might be a hoax or knock-off of the band's style.
