The famous companion of the Prophet {sall'Allaahu ta'aalaa alaihi wa'sallam}, Hadrath Ka'ab bin Ujrah {radiy'Allaahu ta'aalaa anhu}, narrates that once it was enquired from Sayyiduna Rasoolullaah {sall'Allaahu ta'aalaa alaihi wa'sallam} as to how blessings should be sent to him. The Prophet {sall'Allaahu ta'aalaa alaihi wa'sallam} replied that the blessings be said in the manner {it has been mentioned} above, that is, Durood-e-Ibrahimi.
