JUST DANCE COMPARISON | Summer - Calvin Harris | 2015 vs. 2018

3 years ago today, February 12th, I uploaded my first video on YouTube (Summer by Calvin Harris.) I was a tall, skinny, awkward teenager with no confidence in her abilities. For 3 years, I left my dance classes crying because I felt I wasn't good enough, beat myself up for not picking up choreography quickly, and sacrificed a lot for my passion. But in those 3 years, I also learned new techniques, became stronger, healthier, and more in love with who I am and the way I dance. I wanted to share a comparison with you because you, as a community, have been my driving force to improve. Your kind comments and encouragement are the sole reason I continued to dance and push myself to a limit I never thought I could reach. Thank you so much for these 3 years. I'm excited for the next 3 years, and the next 3 years after that, and... you get where I'm going with this. I love you.
